This gorgeous black tomesode (kuro tomesode) features a scene of a Japanese village during the spring. There are cherry blossoms (sakura), peonies (botan), and other plants and flowers spread throughout the pattern, as well as buildings and bridges.

Shiny golden accenting goes around many of the patterns and flowers.

This one also has a hiyoku, which is the extra thick layer of fabric at the bottom, which adds extra protection to the outer layer.
